  18. information on licensing, FTP Voyager features, and information on

  21. Introducing FTP Voyager
  22. ----------------------
  23. FTP Voyager is a program that makes using FTP much simpler.  The
  24. explorer-like graphical interface is intuitive to Windows users, and
  25. makes transferring files via FTP a snap.  FTP Voyager runs on Windows 95
  26. and Windows NT 4.X.

  28. License Terms
  29. -------------
  30. FTP Voyager is shareware.  This means that it is OK to download and
  31. evaluate the program for free, but continued use requires a license.
  32. Your registration and payment means we can continue development and
  33. free distribution of the program.

  35. Registration entitles you to e-mail support and upgrades for 1 year.
  36. Single user copies are $37.95.  Quantity discounts, site and enterprise
  37. licenses are available.

  41. Commercial use of the program (use within a business) absolutely
  42. requires registration.

  44. Program Features
  45. ------------
  46. FTP Voyager is modeled after the Windows Explorer graphical interface,
  47. making it easy to learn and easy to use.  The following features are
  48. designed to make everyday use of FTP fast and efficient.
  49.  
  50.  - Session management makes it easy to connect to the FTP server of your
  51.    choice and to keep a directory of frequented sites.
  52.  
  53.  - Getting files from, or putting files to a server is as simple as
  54.    selecting a file and dragging it to the desired directory or
  55.    clicking on the command you desire.  There's no need to remember
  56.    the command set of the FTP program.
  57.  
  58.  - Navigating the remote system is made much simpler with a graphical
  59.    display of the server's file tree.
  60.  
  61.  - Multiple files may be selected for transfer, including directories.
  62.  
  63.  - Drag and Drop allows you to simply drag a file or directory to the
  64.    Windows desktop or to the Windows Explorer.  You can also drag from
  65.    the Windows Explorer and drop on your FTP site!

  67.  - Remember that registration of the program entitles you to 1 year of
  68.    email support and upgrades.

  70. INSTALLATION
  71. ------------
  72. Run the self-extracting file FtpVoyager.exe to unzip and install
  73. FTP Voyager.  The installation wizard will guide you through the install
  74. process.

  76. Please check our web site occasionally for updates.  Several enhanced
  77. features are planned for future releases.

  79. ERRATA
  80. ------
  81.  - Drag and Drop into applications does not work.  It eventually times
  82.    out giving an error message.  This may be corrected in a future
  83.    release.

  85.  - Opening or viewing files will leave a copy of the file in the "TEMP"
  86.    directory (usually C:\TEMP or C:\WINDOWS\TEMP).
